This soccer player, originally from Japan, has been here long enough to have a favourite local dish - chicken rice. To keep in touch with things back home, Kenta listens to Japanese music and watches films and TV shows on DVD. Kenta is not usually a shy guy, but he says he's quieter here because of the language barrier. Appreciative of the other hunks' assets, he gamely describes them as "handsome" and "beautiful". Coming from Japan, he expects fans of the famous to go ga-ga and scream. He is perplexed by the Singapore system, where, he says, "everybody is very cool and the audience has no response".
If you want to hang out with him you might want to ... let him hog the spotlight. Kenta says he'll do anything to get attention. |
